Renewable Energy
Impalloy have been active supplying the renewable energy sector for some while. Notable successes were anode supply to some round 1 and 2 windfarms for example Greater Gabbard, Alpha Ventus and currently Ormonde jacket anodes both for Burntisland Fabrications Ltd.
Impalloy can provide significant technical input in the control of corrosion for wave and tidal projects, by utilising our long experience in subsea structures. Our corrosion engineers can be commisioned to design the sacrificial anode protection system for your structure.
Examples of our success to date is the supply of C-Gard platform anodes for the Openhydro unit installed in EMEC, or anodes for the Hywind project for Statoil Hydro.
