HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY


Impalloy values health, safety and wellbeing and is committed to ensuring these values extend to all employees, contractors, sites visitors and the public. We believe that excellence in health, safety and wellbeing is good business and is founded on the commitment of management and employees alike to the principle that all occupational illnesses, injuries and incidents are preventable.

To this objective Management will:

· Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions in compliance with any relevant statutes.

· Provide appropriate resources to seek continual cost effective improvement in safety performance.

· Set and publish health and safety objectives.

· Prepare and maintain a documented Health and Safety Management System including safe working procedures.

· Provide and maintain all appropriate and practical safety devices and protective equipment.

· Ensure that health and safety management is the responsibility of all line managers and supervisors.

· Ensure that health and safety policy is understood, implemented and maintained throughout all levels and functions within Impalloy.

· Provide means for employee involvement and consultation to gain commitment to this policy and it's implementation.

· Provide clear leadership and set clear standards in safe behaviour.

· Provide job training to competence including all safety aspects.

· Ensure that this policy and the Health and Safety Management System are periodically reviewed and audited for compliance to the stated objectives.




ENVIRONMENT POLICY


Impalloy Limited is committed to protection of the environment and to the prevention of pollution as integral and fundamental parts of it's business strategy.

To this end we will:

· comply fully with all regulatory and legislative requirements and relevant codes of practise relating to our activities and products.

· set objectives and targets for continual environmental improvement and prevention of pollution which will address:

· waste reduction and the consumption of resources.
· releases to the environment.

· assess the environmental impact of any new development.

· monitor and review environmental performance and the effectiveness of this policy and the Environmental Management System.

· communicate and provide training so that employees at all levels in the organisation are familiar with the policy, objectives and targets and understand their designated individual environmental responsibilities.

This policy is available to interested parties on request and is lodged with the Environment Agency in connection with our Integrated Pollution Control authorisation, which places the policy in the public domain.
